Barnaby Wild
Born the son of the legendary Jolly Roger Barnaby Wild the UFO flying time ranger is responsible for accidentally inventing Rock and Roll. Barnaby Wild by name and nature can whip up a wub wub frenzy in the soul of anyone that encounters the low frequency rhythms and melody flux played by the gyrating 2nd generation Bass Chap.

Jonty Jonson
The Uker at the gates of dawn, in troubled times of pap pop nonsense put the plan in order for musical regeneration, to preserve and ease the happy minds of those feeling violated by the soulless sounds of the tired broadcasting corporations. The Soprano MC with his humble ukulele called for his good fellows to take up their ukes and thus The Mother Ukers were born!

Luap Rekcut
A man living the dream! When he’s not hot footing it round the country with his fellow MU’s (Mother Ukers) he can be found running one of the biggest and best ukulele shops (S.U.S) in the known universe. Although his appearance is that of a Funeral Director, he is quiet a light hearted fellow and has been known to smile on occasion.

Dickson & Ashcroft

Northern Ireland's Maurice Dickson has been writing and performing his songs for almost 30 years. He has played in rock and blues bands around Belfast before forming his own band in 1976. Three years later he turned professional and continued to learn his trade in Europe and North Africa absorbing the cultures and the rhythms.

There is something deeply satisfying about listening to a musician who is obviously the master of his craft. It is even more satisfying to listen to one, like Maurice Dickson, who is not only a consummate musician but whose music is firmly rooted in something deeply personal. The ruggedly beautiful folk is as much a part of him as an arm or a leg, and just as vital. At times, you get the impression that it's a bit of a wrench for him to expose them to the harsh light of the outside world.

Catherine Ashcroft plays the Uilleann Pipes and Whistles with breathtaking speed and virtuosity. Although born in the North West of England she has had a passion for Irish music since childhood and growing up in a musical home she started playing the whistle at an early age before getting her first set of Uilleann pipes in her mid teens. Self taught, Catherine regards her early influences as Planxty, The Bothy Band, Lunasa, and Paddy Keenan. Catherine pursued both instruments avidly and in 2007 won All Britain titles on both whistle and pipes. In between trips to Ireland playing sessions she was performing regularly in the pubs and clubs of the North of England as a soloist and as a member of several Irish bands.

Maurice and Catherine met in 2008 when Catherine recorded her first CD “Take Flight and Follow” at Maurice's studio in Cumbria. This led to them collaborating and Maurice invited her to guest on his forthcoming European tour. A great success they soon formed the duo Mochara. Taking the name from the Irish meaning of “My Friend”. The pair have since performed at various festivals, folk clubs, theatres and music venues throughout the UK, Ireland, Holland, Germany, Denmark and Norway. They have also released 3 albums, “In Your Blood” in 2010, “Spirits and Dreamers” in 2013 and more recently the fabulous “Live at the Island” in 2015.

Dirty Bourbon River Show

The Dirty Bourbon River Show deftly melds sounds that range from hard-edged blues to Lisztian piano driven ballads to New Orleans brass into a result that is truly a blast of new energy into the musical landscape. Dirty Bourbon grabs hold of audiences, fascinated by their eccentricity and dexterity coupled with their ability to harken back to by-gone eras in music. Since forming in early 2009, the Dirty Bourbon River Show has released 9 studio albums and played over 900 live shows, fast earning them a stellar reputation for their tight, multi-faceted sound and high-energy performances. They can be found bringing their blend of “New Orleans Big Brass Circus Rock” all over the USA, performing at festivals and respected venues year-round.

The Dirty Bourbon River Show is comprised of Noah Adams (vocals, piano, guitar, accordion, trumpet, trombone), Matt Thomas (vocals, tenor and baritone saxophone, clarinet), Nick Garrison (vocals, trombone, piano), Jimmy Williams (bass, sousaphone, flute) and Scott Graves (vocals, drums, percussion).

Their albums and live shows (both heavily intertwined) pair exuberant, syncopated lyrics with complex, harmony-rich songwriting and orchestration. They switch instruments mid-show (sometimes even mid-song), they all sing (except the drummer, of course), and they all have a penchant for theatrics (?reballs, group chants and stomps, whiskey pours – whatever the imagination calls for). The Dirty Bourbon River Show is currently preparing for the release of their 10th studio album “The Flying Musical Circus”.
